Whereas, It has pleased Almighty God, the Great Commander to summon to the immortal legions our comrades

And Whereas, We humbly bow to the will of Divine Providence, while ever cherishing in our hearts the memory of their distinguished service to our country and the free people of the world; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that The American Legion JE Lanier Post No. 27, Richmond Hill, Ga. does mourn the passing of these, our comrades-in-arms. The Crew of STS-107, Columbia, That we commend to all the works, and to God the spirit; and be it further

Resolved, That in token of our common grief, this resolution transferring these souls to Gods sweet embrace, and to all of our brethren who have gone before to Post Everlasting, The American Legion, be forever preserved in our hearts and the records of The American Legion JE Lanier, Post 27.

 So say each of us, So say we all.

Adopted by the committee of the whole Post at the meeting of the whole Post on the 20th day of February in the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Three in the City of Richmond Hill, the County Bryan, in the State of Georgia. To this the Commander does enter his hand and the Adjutant doth attest
